Positive aspects:
Front desk/concierage very helpful. Even got tickets for evening theatre performance as of about 5pm. Excellent restaurant nearby (White Chimney Sweep). Great rate.

Lovely Hotel, conveniently located. Breakfast was very good. Front desk was very courteous and always helpful.
Negative aspects:
The only regret we had was that we couldn't get into our room early but that isn't a guarantee anyway.		 My rating:

Excellent - prime position in central Vienna; staff very helpful.
Negative aspects:
We had booked into a standard room, not aware that there was better accommodation available. Our room (105)was small, with frosted windows and we decided to pay a supplement to transfer to a superior room (106). 		My rating:

Negative aspects:
After our first couple of nights, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke, as presumably a smoker had moved into the room opposite us. It would be nice to have non-smoking floors in order to avoid this situation.		 My rating:

Excellent downtown location, close to St Stephen's Cathedral and Vienna sights. Room was lovely and also quiet. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

Everything about our stay there was delightful. The front desk was always warm and helpful. Our room was understatedly elegant, the beds comfortable and the maintenance staff non invasive. Our location was astounding. Located right in city center We were able to walk everywhere. Great shopping and reasonably priced cafes are all around. The front desk looked after us and made sure we experienced Vienna at its best.
Negative aspects:

The hotel was wonderfully situated in the city and many interesting things were in walking distance. The hotel itself was charming and clean and the room we stayed in was nicely appointed. We were especially impressed by the staff, especially Christian, who went out of their way to help us with tickets, directions, tours and much more. I have recomend the Kaiserin Elizabeth to a number of friends and would not consider revisting Vienna without staying at this excellent hotel.

Positive aspects:
The staff were friendly and helpful. They spoke excellent English which was important for me. They gave excellent suggestions for day trips and concerts. The buffet breakfast was wonderful - beautiful set-up and large selection of foods. There was excellent airconditioning in the room. And the duvet and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was very good.
Negative aspects:
I had asked for a nonsmoking room and unfortunately did not receive one. There was an ashtray in the room and the room smelled of stale smoke. The view was nonexistent. The room was very small but acceptable for 1 person.		 My rating:
