Positive aspects:
The location directly across from Westbahnhof was great. The staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was nicely arranged and filling, and the room was clean. I was pleased with my stay.

Negative aspects:
When I accepted a room with bathroom down the hall, I expected to have access to a shower down the hall also. Never found it, but neither did I ask about it. Washed up in the sink.

night staff pleasant. room comfortable. cold breakfast included. central to train and trams.

Negative aspects:
patronising concierge. bathroom door kept locked - must go down to reception in mornings to get key for shower.

Positive aspects:
I love this hotel. I have stayed in Vienna many times and would now not consider staying anywhere else. It's reasonably priced, extremely clean and comfortable and I love the fact that breakfast is served until 12pm! Also has great central location as you can take the bus from the Westbahnhof to the airport.

recommend requesting a room in the back of the hotel, since there is significant street noise when the windows are open in the evening

Positive aspects:
Hotel Furstenhof has a great location. We arrived in Vienna in a downpour. Just it is just across the street from West station (last stop on the bus). The staff is friendly, room is clean and quiet, breakfast is good, again it is very convenient - just across from the subway. We had a great time there.
