Situated just opposite the train station and a five minute walk from the city center and the historical heart of Innsbruck, the Grand Hotel Europa offers a flair of noble comfort. It is the only 5 star hotel in Innsbruck.

Built in 1869, the Hotel Europa was always the residence of nobility and very soon was called the "number one house in Innsbruck".
The Bavarian King Ludwig II once made a compliment "this is the most desirable place in Innsbruck to celebrate a Festival".
The special atmosphere is recognized and appreciated by prominent guests from all over the world, for example the Queen Elizabeth II. on her visit to Tyrol.

The Grand Hotel Europa features 122 rooms and suites recently renovated in various richly styled periods as Biedermeier, Mahagony and Tyrolean.
Rooms are equipped with a bath/WC, air-conditioning, satellite and pay TV, direct dial telephone,
safety deposit box, mini-bar, noise reducing windows, wireless LAN, hair dryer, and trouser press.
Superior and deluxe room and suites have also marble bathrooms.

The award winning restaurant (Europastüberl) offers seasonal and regional specialties which you can enjoy in our carved alcoves. Guests can relax and enjoy a glass of champagne or refreshing cocktail in Europabar whilst listening to classical background music.
